Tell us a little bit about yourself
I was born in Russia, St. Petersburg (in that time it was still Leningrad and Soviet Union though).
In 1991 I came to Holland and studied at Utrecht University. First – a bachelor in Theatre, Film and TV, then – a master in Film, TV and Digital Media and a master in Arts Policy and Management. I worked for some time at a theatre and film production company in Amsterdam. It was really fun, but then I’ve got 2 lovely daughters and switched to communication, which is even more fun, if you ask me.
Why did you decide to join Rotary?
It is a very interesting club of inspiring, positive people. I like the atmosphere a lot. And its great that in this way I can also help others in this world. We are all connected, you know.
Are you active in any committees?
Yes, I’m a member of the PR committee and of the Programme committee. Besides I’m also a member of the Rotary District Media Commissie of our District 1570. Because I know a lot of people, I can help organize an interesting presentations and great programme for our club. And of course I can help with my knowledge of PR to make our club and Rotary projects more well known in Holland. I noticed that we still can do a lot to improve this!
Do you have any hobbies?
Painting with oil, reading, travelling and opera, well, in fact, all music. Besides I love watching movies, going out with friends and dancing.
