RCUI & ASAP Foundation: Empowering Communities in Burkina Faso
As we celebrate 20 years of Rotary Club Utrecht International (RCUI), we’re taking on a bold challenge of raising €20.000 to support 15 villages in Burkina Faso through our partnership with the ASAP Foundation. Our goal? To raise funds and make a tangible impact on education, health, and economic development in one of the world’s poorest countries.
But, we can’t do this alone! We need your support! Whether it’s through sponsorship, silent auction items, in-kind donations, or attending our EmpowerHer Benefit Concert on June 21st, there are many ways to be a part of this life-changing initiative!
Why Burkina Faso?
Burkina Faso is a country rich in culture, home to over 60 ethnic groups and three UNESCO World Heritage sites. Yet, it remains one of the world’s poorest nations, facing extreme challenges in access to education, healthcare, and economic stability. That’s where ASAP Foundation comes in.
For over 25 years, ASAP has been implementing sustainable projects that empower local communities in Burkina Faso. By partnering with them, we ensure that every euro raised goes directly to impactful, community-driven initiatives.
How You Can Help!
The Main Event:
The EmpowerHer Benefit Concert is our biggest fundraising event of the year! Join us on Saturday, June 21st, for an unforgettable afternoon of music performed by the Britten Youth String Orchestra. Proceeds from the event will support girls’ empowerment and education in Burkina Faso.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
We offer three sponsorship levels for the EmpowerHer Benefit Concert, including the exclusive Gold Level – Conductor’s Circle, which features the chance to participate in our Be the Baton competition, where you have the chance to take the center stage and conduct the orchestra!
Silent Auction & In-Kind Donations:
